After leaving Haines, Alaska we immersed ourselves in the Yukon and British Columbia in Canada before emerging in Washington State again. We visited beautiful places and met lovely people. We are grateful for our time in Canada.

Dezadeash Lake - Yukon Territory

Dennis at Big Creek Campground - Yukon Territory

BC (British Columbia) is Bear Country

We even dreamed of bears.

Red Goat Lodge

Flowers along the Cassiar Highway

Stewart, BC

Bear Glacier

We took a side trip from Stewart, BC to Hyder, Alaska. Hyder is the southernmost town in the Alaskan panhandle. It can only be reached by plane, boat, or by driving in from Canada. It has a yearlong population of 14 to 60.

Salmon Glacier - about 20 miles up gravel mining roads back into Canada from Hyder.

Lake Tyhee - Smithers, BC

Camping Humor in Clinton, BC
