We spent eight nights at Denali National Park. It was much colder and snowier than we expected. We had sun. We had rain. We had snow. But the cold kept the Alaskan mosquitoes away and the snow created beautiful wintry landscapes. We visited the working sled dog kennels in the park. And we stayed in three different campgrounds – including one that was truly in the wilderness, 30 miles from the park entrance and main services. It's no wonder that we like Alaska.
