After driving the entire magnificent Oregon coast, we crossed the Columbia River at Astoria and continued up the Washington coast. We spent four days exploring Olympic National Park. We visited the vampires in Forks and the werewolves in La Push. (If you don't get the reference you probably were not a fan of the Twilight Saga.) We escaped both encounters unscathed.
