The latest scans show only a small amount of remaining cancer. The doctors just want to watch it for now.

So, we went on a short camping trip to southeastern Arizona.

It has been two months since Mike had his second cancer surgery. He is recovering well. The latest lab results show no evidence of active cancer. He will have new scans done in a few weeks to see if any further treatment is needed. Thanks to everyone for their concern and support.

We were both ready for a short camping trip to the Jemez Mountains in northern New Mexico. We arrived a bit early for the fall colors, but found some beautiful foliage nonetheless. It was a much needed getaway, and it went better than we expected. We are looking forward to some more adventures soon.
